It was founded in 1970 by Linda Farrow, a designer and pioneer in treating eyewear as an accessory within the fashion world. With avant-garde styles she attracted stars like Yoko Ono and worked with brands such as Dior , Yves Saint Laurent , Balenciaga and Sonia Rykiel .
After twenty-five years, in 2003, Farrow’s son revived the brand after discovering a large stock of vintage eyewear in the family’s London house.
Today, Linda Farrow is famous for their collaborations with some of the world’s most acclaimed designers: Area , Y/Project , The Attico , Dries van Noten among many others, who constantly bring a new perspective to the brand.
